Early recollections of dianthus
It is difficult to remember what one’s first recollections of carnations and pinks are. Here is a picture of the web editor some years ago with pinks. If I remember correctly they were Mrs Sinkins with a wonderful fragrance.
Whether one is influenced by childhood memories, or not, is a matter which I am sure psychologists would argue about. In reality my particular passion is for PF’s not pinks.
