A Message from the President

It is a great privilege to have been elected your President for 1998.1 will do my best to uphold the traditions of the office, meeting as many members, and attending as many carnation functions as I can are among my aims for the year.
I will give my support to the officers and council in conducting the business of the Society.
The promotion of the Society and interest in growing pinks and carnations will be my objectives. I feel I should implore all members to make this their aim in order to reverse the trend of falling membership and so rebuild this Society towards its former glory.
We badly need more active members from the Southern part of the country. Where are you? We need your support.
