The schedule for floral art at the Westminster show.
All shows will be held in the Royal Horticultural Society’s new Hall, Greycoat Street, Westminster. London, SWI from 11am to 7pm on the first day of the shows and from lOam to 5pm on the second day of the shows. Exhibitors will be awarded the sum of £5 per show towards their expenses.
We will be ordering from the RHS 20 foot of space this should allow for seven entries per side. We hope that this be granted but it maybe cut down for October Show.
Exhibitors in Floral Art Classes need not be members of the BNCS. All exhibits will be judged in accordance with NAFAS Handbook of Schedule Definition latest edition. The judges decision will be final.
Staging at Westminster will be from 3pm to lOpm on the day proceeding the show and from 7am to 10am on the day of the show.
Exhibitors MUST leave the exhibition area at 10am to allow judging to begin. Space allowed for exhibits will be 30” wide and 36” high. Dark green hessian background or RHS drapes will be provided out exhibitors may stage their own background, provided it docs not exceed the space allowed. Not less than 5 carnations and/or stems of pinks and/or stems of spray carnations must be included hi all exhibits, these MUST NOT be artificially dyed.
Novices are exhibitors who have not won a Gift prize in any previous BNCS show.

ENTRIES must reach the Show Secretary, a week prior to each show. Late entries cannot be accepted. There are no entry fees.
Removal of exhibits
No exhibit may be removed before 5pm at the close of the show on the second day. Exhibitors are requested to be in attendance a few minutes before that lime. All reasonable care will be taken by officials during the show , but no responsibility for damage or loss will be entertained by the Society or its members.
Challenge Trophies, to be returned by the next Autumn, will be awarded at each of the shows for most points gained in all classes, except novices. Points awarded – First 3, Second 2, Third I. A Silver medal card and three extra points will be awarded for the best exhibit in each show.
